KUBUS POUF
Pouf covered in leather with quilted finish and wooden feet
Product details
The Kubus Footstool by IBFOR is one of the examples of Josef Hoffmann’s design, characterized by the continuous research of squared geometric shapes and also called Quadratstil. The Kubus Footstool appeared for the first time in 1910 next to the Kubus Armchair, for the preparation of an exhibition in Buenos Aires. Its Bauhaus style’s modern and timeless design can be used in combination with the armchair or the combined couch but also independently, to furnish a contemporary style living room or bedroom. The structure of the Kubus Footstool IBFOR consists in solid wood, with the central body stuffed with rigid foam that rests on four legs in black and gray lacquered beech. The Kubus Footstool IBFOR has its main characteristic in the covering: it is exclusively in aniline, frosted or printed flower leather and entirely made up of squares that come from the same leather cut, sewn and finished by hand by the IBFOR artisans.
