With this chair was born one of the leitmotifs of Mackintosh's work: high-backed chair marked by an oval panel. The structure of the ARLINE IBFOR Chair is made of open pore stained ash wood in black, walnut, cherry or wengè, and a rigid foam padded seat. The cushion cover can be in leather, available in four types (aniline, frosted, antiqued and printed flower), velvet or fabric of various colors. This chair is the version with armrests of the chair created for the Argyle Street Tea room, where thanks to its size it had the function of dividing the spaces.
