RED AND BLUE LITTLE TABLE

The Red and Blue Coffee Table IBFOR recalls the design of the Schröder Coffee Table, designed in 1922 by architect Gerrit Thomas Rietveld. It is a Bauhaus-style furnishing accessory, symbol of the neoplastic current to which Rietveld, along with other prominent artists such as the painter Mondrian, had joined. The influence of neoplasticism is also evident in the reproduction of IBFOR: the structure of the Red and Blue IBFOR Coffee Table consists in five elements in beech wood arranged orthogonally and that seem to fit together. The various wooden parts of the Red and Blue Coffee Table IBFOR are lacquered and coloured exclusively with primary colours.
