History

In 1927 Marcel Breuer designed a stool for the canteen of the Bauhaus that was produced in the carpentry of the school itself. so that Walter Gropius used some specimens in his house inside the Bauhaus. The stool was built with 2 steel tubes and a wooden seat (later laminated) screwed to the frame. The stool represented an example of extreme rigor in design. This is why Breuer soon adopted it, transforming it into a series of stackable coffee tables of various sizes. The laccio tables are therefore perfect in a living room, they are a complement of furnishings of great elegance and style. The tables are perfectly matched with the Wassily chair but also with a minimal sofa with simple, modern and geometric shapes.
