- How long does it take to deliver the products?

IBFOR undertakes to produce and deliver the orders to the customer within 2-3 working weeks.

Lead time may vary depending on the quantity of products ordered, or if there are items to be custom-made.
You will be given an estimate of the lead time upon confirmation of your order, taking into account the production time of each product ordered.
Once all the products are finished, our logistics organizes shipping by courier or delivery with our fitters.

- How does the shipping service work?

IBFOR ships its products by courier throughout Italy, including the islands, and shipping is free with no additional costs for the customer.
As for shipping abroad however, the service has an additional cost: its amount is calculated based on the destination and the volume of the product chosen and can be consulted directly from our site when a product is added to the cart and the destination is selected.
The IBFOR staff will organize the shipment and delivery of the goods to the address provided by the customer. The standard shipping service provides for delivery of the goods to street level.

- How does the delivery and assembly service work?

For logistical reasons, some IBFOR products are shipped disassembled (for example the tables). In these cases, the customer can decide to count on "delivery and assembly" service, at the additional cost of 250€: relying on a team of fitters, IBFOR delivers its design pieces to the floor and proceeds with the assembly inside the home of the customer, taking care of discarding the packaging.

- If you do not use the delivery and assembly service, how to assemble the dismounted furniture?

If it is not possible for the customer to choose the delivery and assembly service, don't worry: the packaging includes all the equipment needed to assemble the furniture and an instruction manual for assembly which, if necessary, the IBFOR staff will also send by e-mail in PDF format.

- What are the opening hours and how to visit the showroom?

In our showroom in via Achille Grandi, 5 in Empoli (FI) we have a wide selection of products on the IBFOR website on display.

The showroom is open from Monday to Friday from 9 to 13 and from 14 to 18, while on Saturdays only by appointment at the same times.

- Are the products original?

All IBFOR furnishing accessories are handmade and are rigorously Made in Italy. They have a proven quality that comes from the skill and attention to detail of our craftsmen.
For us, quality means: taking good care of the work, choosing excellent materials, seeking maximum comfort and safety, research and development of innovative projects and providing the customer with a product guaranteed over time.

- Is there any warranty on the products?

All IBFOR products have a 2-year warranty, both on the material and on the workmanship.
The warranty does not cover accidental damage caused by the use of the product.

- Can the goods be returned?

It is possible to return the goods if they show defects upon delivery. We do not accept free returns if the client does not like the chosen product or the measurements are wrong (wrong purchase). IBFOR staff check the quality of the products before each shipment, making sure that there are no defects or damaged parts.
If the goods are returned because they are not liked or due to incorrect measurements, 20% of the value of the sold price will be retained.
Collection fees will also be charged. Before the refund, IBFOR reserves the right to check the status of the returned goods.

- What happens if a product arrives damaged?

In the event of damage caused by transport, we ask our customers to write down all the damage they find and send us an email to info@ibfor.com writing "transport damage" in the subject and attaching the relevant photos as soon as possible, IBFOR replaces the damaged product or returns the money paid to the customer.
To protect their interests, the customer, as soon as he receives his order, must absolutely sign the receipt to the courier WITH RESERVE, always adding the reason for the reserve: this means that he reserves the right to check the condition of the goods once the courier has left.
To simplify the replacement procedure, please do not reject the package, even if damaged.

Attention: if the damage is not reported in the presence of the courier or the receipt with reserve is not signed, it will not be possible for the IBFOR staff to solve the problem.

- Do you need to register on the site to place an order?

Yes, the online purchase service on the IBFOR website implies an automatic registration on the site, at the end of which the staff will receive an email with the data to confirm your registration. Once obtained, you can proceed with the order.
By registering on the site, you provide all the information necessary to start the order and for billing (therefore also for the warranty).
Registration will allow access to the "Reserved Area" (from the link at the top right) where you can check your orders.
The personal data of registered users will be used ONLY for order management and will absolutely not be provided to third parties.

-What data should be provided to place an order?

The data to be provided are: name and surname, VAT number, email, telephone number (preferably mobile), billing and delivery address.

- Can you pay on delivery?

To start the production of the goods, IBFOR requires a deposit upon order confirmation. The balance of the payment can be made by cash on delivery or by check made out to IDF SRL to be given to the courier upon delivery. This method of payment on delivery is valid only for Italy, alternatively a bank transfer can be made before the delivery.

It is also possible to pay via CREDIT CARD where the delivery is made with our logistics, or in cash up to a maximum established by Italian law.

- How do you request a quote?

Simply add the products to the cart and select the destination.
Without obligation, the requested estimate will appear, including shipping costs.
Alternatively, you can request a quote directly by writing an email to info@ibfor.com, specifying the desired characteristics, the quantity and the place of delivery.
Our staff will respond in a short time providing all the information.

- Sometimes delivery times are long: why?

The standard lead time for all of our items is around 2-3 weeks.
For some IBFOR products, it may happen that the production and shipping times are longer, especially for completely customized products.
However, we do everything possible to respect the delivery times announced at the time of order confirmation.
